Good morning from Sydney International airport

Just thought I’d share that when I went through the full body scanner, I was called aside for a pat down.

The scanner showed up the site of where I injected my Pegasys last Thursday. I had no metal or anything else of interest so after a look, they patted me down and gave me the ‘all clear’.

I was surprised. I do have a purple bruise and a little red around the site tho didn’t think it would draw attention

Interesting "pat-down" results...

Well, I guess that it is very good to know they are on the job!

I remember years ago, after my visit to West Sumatra, (after Earthquakes – I was Teaching ESL), Customs kept me entertained w/ many questions for circa 1.5 hours, asking "...if I had anything to declare?" I repeatedly said, "No! Nothing..." When I arrived home, I found that the 'Gift' my students gave me, which was a small replica of what they call a (Ruma Gadang – Indigenous Big House of the Minang Kabau). It was encased within a sealed perspex box. Customs had destroyed it!

So sad... Eventually, it ended in my mother's "fairy garden" under a tree where all her Grand-kids could enjoy it...
